• Wooden slat blinds. Our custom wooden window blinds are manufactured from the hardwood of the Kiri tree.
• This is one of the most sustainable and fastest growing tree species. Sawn Kiri wood timber can be harvested in less than 10 years, after which a new tree can grow from the original stump.
• Kiri Hardwood has one of the highest  strength to weight ratios.
• It is free of volatile oils and low in resin making it one of the most fire retardant timbers.
• It is naturally resistant to rotting and decay, and borer beetles.
• It is dimensionally stable over long slat lengths.
• It has 13 standard painted colours and 17 standard stain colours
• It has quarter sawn slats, for higher dimensional stability to resist cupping, twisting and warping.
• It has a bevelled bottom rail designed to roll with the slats as the blinds are closed.
• As many as 3 drops can be on a single head rail.
• Head rails come in various options- silver, white, antique brass or black.
• It comes in two slat widths – standard 50mm and shutter-like 63mm.
• There are 6 valance options to match and frame the blinds beautifully.
