Willow Tree is a special line of ornaments created by artist Susan Lordi. Susan’s ideas come from her own life experiences, her own understanding of the world and she believes that they have to be personal to be truthful. Susan Lordi has worked on this range with Demdaco since January 2000 and it has gained ever increasing popularity for Wedding gifting, Christening gifts, Birthdays, Christmas gifts and decor, Mother’s day,  Fathers Day.

Susan hand carves the original of each figure in her studio in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.  The individual pieces are cast and hand painted. Expressions are shown through gestures… a tilt of the head, placement of hands, a turn of the body. The simplicity of form and absence of facial features are a trade mark of the Willow Tree. It is Susan’s hope that these pieces are meaningful to both giver and receiver.
